簡介:
The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the Exchange), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx), published a report in 2014 summarising key observations and findings from its review of 120 periodic financial reports released by issuers. This seminar provides comprehensive knowledge to participants on current financial statements and reporting issues with the following key areas:
 
- Observations from the Exchange’s financial statements review programme
- Listing Rules related matters that require particular attention
- New developments arising from Consultation Paper on Review of Listing Rules on Disclosure of Financial Information

Mr. Steve Ong
Senior Vice President,
Head of Accounting Affairs, Listing Department, HKEx.

Steve is a Fellow of the HKICPA and the ICAEW. He is currently Senior Vice President, Head of Accounting Affairs at the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong, responsible for accounting and auditing affairs. He was previously the Head of the HKICPA’s Standard Setting Department responsible for the HKICPA’s standard setting activities covering financial reporting, auditing and assurance and professional ethics. He has worked with two major international accounting firms in London and Hong Kong.
