IFRS 15 will become effective in 2018. This seminar highlights the key requirements of the new standard, and some of the common practical matters to consider for a successful implementation of the standard.
Speaker's Bio
Mr. Ernest Lee has over 24 years of experience in auditing and providing technical advice on accounting and auditing related matters in a wide range of industries in the Asia-Pacific Area. Ernest is currently the Deputy Chairman of the Financial Reporting Standards Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (“HKICPA”). He is also a member of the HKICPA’s Companies Ordinance (Financial Reporting) Advisory Panel.
Ernest is actively involved in standard-setting activities for financial reporting standards in Hong Kong and is a frequent speaker on financial reporting matters. For a number of years, Ernest served as a technical reviewer of the HKICPA’s Professional Standards Monitoring Panel and a technical reviewer for the Risk-Based Financial Statements Review Programme of the Financial Reporting Council. He is also a Council Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (“HKICS”) and serves as the Chairman of the HKICS’s Audit Committee.
